About the course
This course prepares you to perform DOT urine specimen collections the right way. You will learn the collection site and security requirements, how to complete the 2026 Federal Custody and Control Form, routine collection steps, shy bladder and other problem collections, monitored and directly observed collections, temperature and tampering issues, and how to correct flaws and keep records. Each module ends with a knowledge check, and the course closes with a final assessment. Printable resource forms, including a collection checklist, shy bladder log, and a full-page sample CCF, are included. Live online mock collections are available to complete your collector qualification.
